Xiaomi recently introduced its latest and greatest Xiaomi 15 Series in China with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device sports a compact 6.36-inch flat OLED screen along with symmetrical bezels of just 1.38mm. The device also comes with 2670×1200 pixels resolution, 1-120Hz LTPO variable refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It also features full-brightness DC dimming and the display of the device features Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass for protection. The device also comes with a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen.
It comes with the power of the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor along with Xiaomi HyperCore and a self-developed microarchitecture scheduler, it promises a 45.7% faster app launch response time.
The brand new Xiaomi 15 runs on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15. The device also comes with multiple optimizations that are specially designed for this compact flagship, including advanced thermal management and refined system performance.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Xiaomi 15’s camera system, co-developed with Leica. The device comes with three Summilux 50MP lenses including a main Light Fusion 900 sensor (1/1.3″, f/1.62, OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide sensor (Samsung S5KJN1, f/2.2), and a 50MP telephoto lens (Samsung S5KJN5, 1/2.75″, f/2.0, OIS) with floating focus and 5x optical zoom. The device also features a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 camera on the front. It also comes with AISP 2.0, capable of processing up to 4.3 billion pixels per second for dynamic photos.
The latest Xiaomi 15 houses a large 5,400mAh battery along with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The device also comes with 30W magnetic wireless charging as well. The device also supports Goodix Technology’s ultrasonic fingerprint recognition for fast, glare-free unlocking, even with wet hands.
It also comes with an aviation-grade unibody aluminum frame with a four-curve wrap-around design. The device also features IP68-rated for dust and water resistance along with features including NFC and infrared remote control.
