It is worth mentioning that the satellite service is being available for individuals for the first time in the country as it was limited to emergency and the military use only.
Direct-to-device satellite service users to use smartphones, IoT, and other devices by connecting directly with satellites in the absence of Wi-Fi or mobile network. Unfortunately, BSNL is yet to reveal more details including the way to access the newly introduced service and its plans.
