Redmi will be launching the new Redmi K80 Series next week, and the smartphone series will include the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. As mentioned, the Redmi K80 series screen technology communication meeting was held in collaboration with Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan Eye Center and TCL Huaxing today on the 18th of November 2024, afternoon, in China.
The company hosted a meeting in China where the company revealed that the upcoming Redmi K80 series will come with an OLED TCL M9 LTPS display screen. The smartphone series will also come with a 2K resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits HBM mode, and a circular polarized light for eye protection.
It will also come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and it is also said that the devices will consume 20.3% less power. The devices will also come with hardware level full brightness DC, ADV-MEMC gaming eye protection, and AON smart eye protection.
The upcoming Redmi K80 series is expected to be announced on November 28 in China and it is believed that the vanilla variant will come with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Pro variant will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor.
