Redmi is expected to launch the new Redmi K80 series before the end of this month in China and the smartphone series is expected to include the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. It is reported that the upcoming Redmi K80 smartphone will come with the power of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and the device is expected to feature a 2K Huaxing LTPS panel with a flat design.
The device is reported to feature a 50MP Omnivision OV50 main sensor on the back along with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. The device is also expected to come with a 20MP Omnivision OV20B sensor on the front.
It is reported to house a large 6500mAh battery along with 90W fast charging, the device is also expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the same will be available under the screen. The upcoming device will come with a metal middle frame along with Dragon Crystal Glass on the front and back. The device will also come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the other hand, the upcoming Redmi K80 Pro is reported to come with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and the device will also come with a 2K Huaxing LTPS panel. It will also feature a flat design.
The device is said to come with a 50MP main sensor (again, Omnivison OV50) along with a 32MP ultrawide ISOCELL KD1 sensor and a 50MP ISCOELL JN5 telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom. The device will feature a 20MP sensor on the front similar to the vanilla variant.
It is reported to house a 6000mAh battery along with 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will also come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, metal middle frame, Dragon Crystal Glass build, and IP68 rating.
