Mountain View company Google announced the Google Gemini YouTube Music extension during the Google I/O 2024 event. The extension is now started to roll out globally for both desktop and Android devices. So let’s get into the article to check out the new extension.
The latest Google Gemini YouTube Music extension will enable YouTube play your favourite songs or artists in Gemini directly from YouTube Music. You just need to connect Gemini to your YouTube Music account and simply ask the AI chatbot to show, find, and play your favourite music from the huge library of YouTube Music with simple prompts.
How to Use the latest Google Gemini YouTube Music Extension?
The latest Google Gemini YouTube Music extension is actually disabled by default and you need to connect your Gemini account to YouTube Music. You also need to enable the extension to use it. If your account received the new feature then you need to visit Gemini Extensions and scroll down to the YouTube Music extension and toggle it on. Now you can able to see a prompt to Connect YouTube Music, simply click on Connect and you have done the job.
It is worth mentioning that currently the extinction is working with the English prompts only but we believe that Google will support more languages in the coming days.
