Qualcomm has already confirmed to launch its upcoming flagship mobile processor called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in the month of October this year and we already came multiple reports that suggested various smartphone brands are gearing up to launch their new models with the upcoming flagship processor. Today we got a new piece of information that reveals the data sheet of the upcoming Snapdragon flagship mobile processor and it is also reported that the chipset maker will be launching 2 variants of the chipset as well. According to the latest information, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile processor has two part numbers, namely SM8750 and SM8750P. The former is a regular version while the latter is an overclocked version.
It is reported that Qualcomm will build the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile processor on an advanced 3nm process along with Oryon CPU. The chipset will also feature the Adreno 8-series GPU. The chipset is also said to support dual-channel package-on-package (PoP) high-speed LPDDR5X SDRAM.
The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile processor is also coming with the Qualcomm Spectra ISP 8-series and the chipset will also include Adreno VPU and DPU units, along with high-definition display support.
It is also revealed that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile processor will also come with a 3G/4G/5G modem and the same will be supporting mmWave and sub-6 bands. The upcoming chipset will also feature Qualcomm’s FastConnect 7900 system that will be offering Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and ultra-wideband (UWB).
The processor will also come with advanced AI and security features. It will feature a Low-Power AI (LPAI) along with a dedicated DSP and AI accelerator. The chipset will also feature the Qualcomm Aqstic WCD3955 audio codec and it will also come with a Secure Processing Unit.
The SM8750 variant of the chipset is expected to power most flagship phones that will be official in the month of October. While the SM8750 variant is expected to come next year.
