The Mountain View company Google has officially introduced the latest Google Axion Processors and the same is Custom Arm-Based CPUs for Powerful and Sustainable Data Centers. The company promises to provide up to 50% better performance and a remarkable 60% improvement in efficiency.
It features Arm’s Neoverse V2 CPU cores along with custom silicon microcontrollers, codenamed Titanium and the same can manage platform tasks including networking and security. It is also capable for offloads storage functionalities to Hyperdisk, a new block storage service.
The latest Google Axion is built on the standard Armv9 architecture and the company has collaborated with industry partners like Broadcom, CrowdStrike, Cybereason, Datadog, Elastic, OpenX, Snap, and WP Engine.
