Google Pixel 8 series goes official
Google introduced its latest flagship smartphone series globally and the devices are available in India as well. The device comes with the Tensor G3 mobile processor along with the Titan M2 for security, it comes with 12 GB of RAM on the board and up to 1TB storage in the US, and 512GB elsewhere. The device is housing a massive 5,050mAh along with 30W wired and 23W wireless charging support. It is running on Android 14 out of the box and you will be getting 7 years of security updates.
Google offers the device with a 50MP primary shooter, 48MP ultrawide lens with upgraded autofocus, and 48MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. The device also comes with a 10.5MP selfie camera.
On the other hand, the vanilla variant features a 6.17-inch OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate as well as 2,000 nits peak brightness. The device comes with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN2 primary sensor along with a 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide-angle sensor that will also work as a Macro capability sensor. It also comes with an upgraded ToF sensor and the device features 10.5MP front facing camera.
Under the hood, the latest Google Pixel 8 smartphone comes with a Google Tensor G3 mobile processor at its heart along with the Titan M2 security chip. The popular shopping website Amazon has confirmed that the new colour variant of the device will come with a price tag of Rs 44999 and the device will feature a vegan leather back along with a stitch pattern going down the sides. Apart from the new design, the company has also confirmed that the device will come with a massive 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device features a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it will feature a peak brightness of 1,450 nits. The display is integrated with the fingerprint scanner and supports HDR10+.
It features a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS on the back along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and it also has a 2MP macro sensor. The device also comes with a 16MP front-facing camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor along with LPDDR5 RAM and an eight-channel VC cooling system. The device is housing a massive 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support and it runs on Android 13 out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE goes official
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone features a 6.3 Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the company has announced the device with two chipset models and one of them comes with the power of the Exynos 2200 for the selected markets only. While the other variant has the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor. Both chipset options will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB storage options. The device runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 custom skin out of the box.
It comes with a 50MP primary camera with OIS along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, with 123˚ field of view, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS on the back. The device features a 10MP selfie camera. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. It is housing a 4500mAh battery along with 25W fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
