HMD Global has officially introduced its first smartphone series in the market of India dubbed the HMD Crest series which includes HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max. The newly introduced HMD Crest features a 6.67-inch OLED display along with an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen. The device also supports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest HMD Crest has a 50MP main sensor along with a 2MP depth on the back. The device also comes with a 50MP front-facing camera. The smartphone also features night selfies, AI portraits, flash shots, and more to provide a better photography experience.
Under the hood, the HMD Crest has the power of the Unisoc T760 mobile processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device houses a large 5,000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging.
It is also introduced with Repairability 1.0 and the same will make things easy to replace the back panel, battery, display, and charging port. The device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box and it is confirmed to get 2 years of major software updates. The device comes with all the essential connectivity options on the board.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest HMD Crest costs Rs 14,999 and the device will be available through Amazon from next month and it will be available during the upcoming Amazon Great India Freedom sale.
