Having said that, the company has also added a separate Music sticker along with the ability to add music to the story. With the Music sticker, you can able to add lyrics of the song and that will appear on the story in synchronization with the song.
Before getting into the steps to add music in the story, you need to update the Instagram application to the latest version. It is worth to mention that the new feature comes with the different categories such as Popular, Moods, and Genres, you can also select your favourite song from the search bar which can find on the top of the screen. The feature will play music on Instagram story for 15 seconds but you can select the desired part of the song to add in your story. How to add music on Instagram story
- Launch the Instagram app, and open camera to add an image to upload
- Now swipe up and tap on the “Music” sticker, and choose your desired song
- You will now be treated with an option to choose the font and color of the lyrics
- And also to select the part of the song
- Once that done, just tap on “Done” at the right side of the screen
- Now place the lyrics wherever on your image
That said, you can follow the same steps to add Music on Instagram story and the only difference between Music and Music sticker is the absence of lyrics in the Music option.
