Instagram finally announces one of my most desired features in the latest update, as now it allows you to add music to your Instagram Stories. Well, this is really a dream come true features for me and I believe that many of you wished to have this kind of feature.
We first hear about this feature in last month, and now the developers of the application make the feature official. To bring the ability to add music to Instagram stories, the Facebook-owned Instagram introduced the ‘Music Stickers’ feature and with this stickers, a user can add the sticker to the photo or video. You can choose the Music Stickers by opening the stickers section, and once you select the sticker, you will see a library of songs.
Having said that, the new the Music section is categorized into three tabs – Popular, Moods, and Genres. And this will make easier to find your favorite music. Moreover, it will also present with a search bar at the top which will allow you to search for the desired music. Furthermore, it will also allow you to play the music to hear the preview. And, once the music is selected, you can fast-forward and rewind through it to select the part of that song which you want to add to your Story.
Moreover, the viewers of your story will also see a sticker which will give the information about the music like the name of the song, artist etc. Speaking about the availability, the feature is available in the Instagram version 51 for both Android and IOS. But the feature is available in selected countries and the developers of the application rolling out the feature to the users of iOS and the company said that the feature will arrive to the Android soon. Apart from this awesome feature, Instagram has also announced that now it has 400 million daily active users for the Instagram Stories section.
