Back in last month, the developers of Facebook owned Instagram rolled out a new feature which makes the users to purchase products within the app. Well, now Instagram goes a step ahead by allowing users to purchase products from the Instagram stories.
If you are a regular user of Instagram then you are aware about that brand’s advertisements of their products and you need to tap or swipe up to go to product and purchase it. However, with the latest update, you can able to purchase products directly from the stories by tapping a shopping bag icon.
Having said that, this new feature is currently available to a limited number of brands like Adidas, Aritzia and Louis Vuitton first, and, will be rolled out for more brands “soon”.
So, if you are a follower of the above mentioned brand’s, then you can able to see the new shopping bag icon in your Instagram story and you can able to purchase products as well right from the stories section.
