Back in last month, the developers of the Instagram rolls out a feature which allows to share news feed post directly to the stories as a sticker. Well, today the company rolls out a new feature which will allow users to reshare stories in he/she is tagged.
The new feature is called @mention sharing, and with this feature whenever your friend mentions you in their story, then you will able to reshare that particular story as a sticker on your story. When someone mentions you in their story, then you will get a notification in the DM as a thread with that person saying that you have been mentioned in their Story. And the message will have an option which will read as “Add This to Your Story”, just tap on it and you will successfully able to share the story as a sticker in your Story. Having said that, you can edit that sticker by adding stickers or text.
It is worth to mention that once you reshared that story as a sticker in your story, your followers will able to see the name of the original poster and will able to tap on it to check out the profile as well. The new feature will be available on both the Android and IOS platform as a part of the latest Instagram version 48.
