The developers of Instagram continuously roll out new features and now the application has got a new feature which will allow users to share feed post directly to stories as stickers.
After updating the Instagram app, you will able to share posts from your feed directly to the Stories as stickers. Well, in this way, you can avoid the additional step to make the same thing as the feed post and your story.
How to share feed to stories as stickers
To share a feed post to your Story, you need to tap on the ‘paper plane’ icon below the post right next to the comment icon, and then tap on the option which will allow you to add that post to the story. Once you have done this, your post will be added as a sticker to the Story along with your username along with the link back to the post. Moreover, the background color of the Story will change depending on the post which you added. You can also resize and rotate the posted sticker in the Story to your liking, while also adding other things like emoji, hashtag and more.
Having said that, in addition to sharing posts from your account, you can only share posts from other accounts which are posted on the platform as public. Well, if you have a public account, then you can prevent others from sharing your posts by heading over to the Settings > Resharing to Stories menu.
Speaking about the availability of the feature, it is currently available for Android, however, the company has said that it will be available for iOS in coming days.
