Following the merger of OnePlus and Oppo, the former Oxygen OS customized skin was set to merge with the second ColorOS skin. However, the move was halted due to a backlash from OnePlus’ user base. Now, the brand has released a new survey that seeks to improve the OxygenOS experience.
According to the survey, the Chinese brand clearly states that OxygenOS 13 will be a collaboration between the OnePlus community and Google. The survey asks some questions like the worst and best features a person has ever experienced, and you even want to rank the factors that affect their experience with an OS. These include elements such as multicultural inclusive, cognitive function, feature rich, and native close.
According to official notes, the feedback the company is taking will help improve the Oxygen OS platform. The brand is likely to focus a major focus on the user experience this time around, especially after its final iteration (OxygenOS 12), which has provided the most bug-ridden experience in any OxygenSO build so far. Interestingly, Oppo recently announced a survey of its own for its ColorOS platform. Oddly enough, it presents the same carbon copy questions of the OnePlus survey.
In other words, it seeks to enhance its ColorOS experience for its user base. But while OnePlus calls it the OxygenOS User Experience Survey, Oppo calls it the 2022 ColorOS Fans Test. These two brands seem to be advancing in order to provide a unique and robust software experience and to keep a distance from each other.
