Microsoft has updated its Windows Photos app on Windows 11 and the application receives multiple new capabilities including the power of removing backgrounds from images instantly and the new features are available in version 2023.11110.8002.0. Background Remove and Replace
The latest update of Windows Photos application will enable you to remove background and the replace the background. You can also change the background of the image with a solid colour as well.
Filmstrip
The developers of the company is also offering a new design on the Filmstrap and now each photo has a Filmstrip of thumbnails at the bottom that you can use to quickly check other images in the same folder. You can enable Filmstrip by pressing the “F” key or click on the icon in the bottom left corner.
Timeline Scrollbar
Now you can able to easily find a photo with the Timeline Scrollbar feature and the same will be available to all folders and made it dynamically based on the time range of your photo collection. Microsoft has also implemented a new feature to share a OneDrive-backed photo.
Microsoft has also made things easy to print your images by adding a 7:5 aspect ratio to the Resize tool and moving the Print button to the top command bar when viewing a single image. The company also offers various stability and speed improvements as well.
