The love story between Samsung and Microsoft is very popular as Microsoft offers exclusive and special features to the Samsung Galaxy smartphones in its Phone Link app which was previously known as Your Phone.
For those who are not aware about this particular application, it enables users to make and receive phone calls on the computer and also to check messages and view photos on the computer without touching the phone. It actually mirrors everything on your computer but the Samsung Galaxy smartphone users are enjoying some additional features with this application and now Microsoft has added one more to the list and the same will enable Samsung smartphone users to access websites. So let’s get into the article to check out the new feature in detail.
The Microsoft Phone Link app is now getting a new feature called “Recent Websites” and this feature will enable users to easily continue their last browsing session from the phone on the Galaxy Book laptop.
If you are having both Samsung devices then you need to open the latest version of the Phone Link app (or use the flyout menu from the taskbar) and the same will bring a list of the last visited websites. You can simply click on a link and the same will open on your computer. It will also enable you to open individual website or you can open all the websites in one go as well.
We can expect more announcements during the upcoming Samsung event where the company will be launching the highly anticipated Galaxy S23 series and new Galaxy Book 3 laptops and the event is scheduled on February 1.
Thankfully, the newly introduced Recent Websites feature is not limited to Samsung devices and that means the company will roll out a new update for the application in the coming days and that will enable Windows users to access their last visited websites as well.
So let’s wait for the new update and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates from the world of technology.
