With the new move, Amazon will be expanding its reach in the market of India and now the company will be strengthening its presence in the market. The deal valued at less than $100 million marks a significant drop from the previous valuation of $500 million of MX Player.
The very popular e-commerce platform Amazon will be retaining the branding of MX Player and it is expected to keep some major executives of MX Player as well.
