The Poco X6 series goes official
The latest POCO X6 series is officially introduced in India with a flat OLED screen measuring 6.67 inches along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The POCO X6 series features an OIS-enabled 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Both devices feature a 16MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the POCO X6 is powered by a Dimensity 8300 Ultra mobile processor while the Poco X6 Pro has the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile processor. Both devices feature up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The vanilla variant has a 5,100mAh battery along with 67W charging while the Pro variant is fueled by a 5,500mAh battery along with 90W charging technology.
The newly introduced POCO X6 Pro is running on Android 14 with the latest HyperOS out of the box while the vanilla variant runs on MIUI 14-based Android 14. Both phones are confirmed to receive three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest POCO X6 starts at Rs 21,999 while the Pro variant starts at Rs 26,999. The devices will be available from January 16 via Flipkart in the country.
Asus ROG Phone 8 series launched globally
The Asus ROG Phone 8 series features a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED LTPO display along with a 165Hz refresh rate, and you can use the display with a glove on your hand as well. The latest Asus ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor. The vanilla variant comes with up to 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, whereas the Pro variant has 16 GB / 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB / 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Both devices house a large 5,500mAh battery along with 65W fast charging technology, Quick Charge 5.0, and PD charging. Both devices also feature 15W Qi wireless charging. The devices run on Android 14 with ROG UI out of the box.
The latest Asus ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro feature a 32-megapixel RGBW front-facing camera while the back panel of the devices features a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree FOV, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS support.
In terms of pricing and availability, the vanilla variant has a starting price of $1,099 while the Pro Edition starts at $1,499. It will be available for purchase in spring 2024.
Oppo Reno 11 series goes official in India
The vanilla variant comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of storage. It features a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor. It also features a 32MP front-facing camera. It has Oppo’s HyperTone Image Engine, and the Oppo Reno 11 Series is particularly tailored for Indian users, with the Tone Mapping Control algorithm. It houses a large 5000mAh battery along with 67W SuperVOOC charging technology.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro, on the other hand, features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Display a similar to the vanilla variant. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 32MP telephoto camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera. The device houses a 4600mAh battery along with 80W charging.
Regarding pricing and availability, the latest Oppo Reno 11 has a starting price of Rs. 29,999, while the Oppo Reno 11 Pro starts at Rs. 39,999. The devices will be available in the country through Flipkart along with the official website of Oppo and offline stores. The Oppo Reno 11 Pro will be available from January 18 and the vanilla variant will be available from January 25.
Moto G34 5G goes official in India
Motorola has introduced the Moto G34 5G smartphone with a 6.5-inch OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 695 mobile processor along with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM as well as 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery along with 18W charging via a USB-C port.
Moto G34 5G features a 16-megapixel front camera while the back panel of the device has a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The device runs on Android 14 with MYUI 6.0 out of the box. The device features a side-facing fingerprint sensor. It has a starting price of Rs 10999 and it will be available from January 17th through Flipkart and the leading stores.
OnePlus 12 India price leaked
The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 smartphone will be official in India on January 23 and before that, the pricing information was accidentally revealed by the popular shopping website Amazon in India. It is listed that the OnePlus 12 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option and the device has a price tag of Rs 69,999. It is worth mentioning that the price is the MRP and the actual retail price could be lower than this pricing. We can also expect the bank offers as well.
