HMD Global, the company that currently has the official licensee of Nokia smartphones, and the company is also started to launch the cells branded mobile devices as well. Today we got a new piece of information that says the company is all set to launch the new HMD Skyline and the images of the device appear online.
The newly leaked renders of the upcoming device show a phone reminiscent of the Fabula design language that was first introduced with the Nokia N9. It is also reminding us the iconic Nokia Lumia 920.
HMD Skyline is expected to come with FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The upcoming device will come with a 108MP main sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a macro or depth sensor. The device is also expected to feature a 32MP front-facing camera.
The device will be coming with a 4,900mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It is also believed to feature an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It is also expected to feature an under-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. The device will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. It is expected to come with a price tag of €520 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The device is expected to be announced in the month of July this year.
