YouTube is currently testing a new feature and the same will automatically download recommended Shorts for offline viewing experience and the downloaded YouTube Shorts will be appearing in the smart download section in the YouTube application.
It is worth mentioning that the testing feature is currently available for YouTube Premium users on the Android platform.
