Before that, the popular mobile chipset maker has announced that its custom Oryon cores will come to its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile SoC in 2024.
It is worth mentioning that Qualcomm acquired Nuvia, which is a chip design company founded by former Apple engineers, in March 2021. The company is developing custom Arm-compatible CPU cores, and Qualcomm has said that the Oryon cores are based on Nuvia’s designs.
The next generation flagship mobile processor of the company will be official in the 4th quarter of next year which means we have plenty of time to get more details about the same in the coming months.
