Last year, Apple introduced its first ever mixed reality headset called the Apple Vision Pro and the same is said to be the world’s first “spatial computer. It also comes with a new operating system called visionOS and the device secured a place on our Best Innovative Products of 2023 as well. The newly announced Apple Vision Pro features an impressive “display system” and the same is coming with two micro OLED screens, along with a total of 23 million pixels which is transmitting over a 4K TV for each eye. It is also coming with custom catadioptric lenses and offering a wide color gamut as well as high dynamic range.
Apple Vision Pro is coming with the power of a custom dual-core M2 chipset along with an innovative R1 chip that is collaborating 12 cameras, five sensors, and six microphones. The device is running on the visionOS and the same can be controlled effortlessly using a combination of eye movements, hand gestures, and voice commands. The device is not having any physical buttons and that will enable users to navigate through applications by simply looking at the same which is pretty awesome.
You can select by tapping your fingers, scrolling with a wrist flick, or dictating commands using your own voice. The device is also coming with a unique feature dubbed EyeSight and the same will make the new Apple Vision Pro feel transparent when interacting with others. The device is also supporting a 3D layout and the same will enable applications to be viewed side by side at any scale. The new Apple Vision is also capable to connect with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad.
Apple Vision Pro offers two hours of battery life when the device is connected to a high-performance portable battery pack and you can able to use the Apple Vision Pro throughout the day when it is plugged in. The device is also having good security as well as authentication set up and the same is powered by Optic ID.
It also features a dedicated App Store and the same will be enabling you to access various iPhone and iPad apps. The applications can automatically integrate with the new input system for the Apple Vision Pro. The device also features FaceTime calls and Spatial Audio as well.
The latest Apple Vision Pro will be like digital “Personas” during calls with the power of machine learning. The new Apple Vision Pro features a screen that delivers 100 feet wide along with an advanced Spatial Audio system. It also features over 100 Apple Arcade games as well, which means you can convert any place into an entertainment hub.
Apple Vision Pro supports Apple’s first 3D camera, and the same will enable you to capture, relive, and immerse in your memories. You can access your photos and videos in iCloud. The device features glass and a custom aluminum alloy frame and it is designed to curve around the user’s face.
The device has a price tag of $3,499 and today it is confirmed that the device will be available for pre order from January 19 and the first sale is on February 2. The device will be available through the official stores of Apple. There is no information about the availability of the device in India.
