The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest 120W USB-C Gallium Nitride (GaN) charger kit and the same comes with a compact design along with fast charging capabilities. The company calls the device as the “Little Pudding charger. The device is available in the market of China through JD.com and it has the price tag of 199 yuan.
Xiaomi 120W GaN Charger is available in white colour option along with a rounded design and it comes with a third-generation semiconductor material known for its excellent thermal conductivity along with high-temperature resistance, and small size. It offers up to 120W of fast charging for compatible Xiaomi phones.
The latest Xiaomi 120W GaN Charger has the compatibility with PD 3.0, QC 3.0, and UFCS 1.0 protocols that will enable the device to intelligently recognize and efficiently charge a variety of devices, including tablets, laptops, wearables, and more. The device can offer up to 65W of continuous fast charging for laptops.
It also comes with safety features including a fire-resistant and high-temperature-resistant shell, intelligent temperature control, and multiple protection mechanisms against overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, short circuits, and more.
Xiaomi 120W GaN Charger is capable to work within temperature range of -10°C to 40°C. The charger kit comes bundled with a 1.5m USB-C to USB-C data cable and the same supports 120W fast charging.
