Sony has officially confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed the Sony Xperia 1 VI smartphone will be official in the market of Japan on May 15 and the launch event will be hosted at 4:00 p.m. local time.
Along with the Sony Xperia 1 VI, the Japanese company is expected to launch the Xperia 5 VI and the Xperia 10 VI as well. The upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI is expected to come with a 2K display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and BRAVIA HDR technology. The device is also expected to support a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The device will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with a large 5,000mAh battery. The device will be coming with a 24mm primary lens with an Exmor T for mobile” stacked CMOS image sensor. It is also believed that the company will be launching the device with a 16mm lens and an 85-170mm telephoto zoom lens with up to 7X zoom capabilities.
