The Mountain View company Google has rolled out the new version of the Chrome OS for Chromebooks and the same brings many new features that will seamlessly integrate devices. The latest Chrome OS 103 update is featuring multiple new features and one of them is the changes in the Phone Hub. The Phone Hub is now capable to fetch your recently captured images straight from your Android smartphone to your Chromebook and it is a handy implementation.
Moreover, the newly implemented feature will work even without the internet connectivity and that is pretty awesome.
The new update is also coming with a capability to securely connect your Chromebook to any WiFi network which you already saved on your smartphone and you can connect without a password. This particular feature is powered by the Nearby Share feature in Chrome OS.
You can use the feature by going to the internet settings section on your smartphone and select “Wi-Fi network” and “Share.” after that, tap the “Nearby” tile under the QR code, and select the Chromebook.
The search engine giant Google has also revealed that Chromebooks will soon be able to easily pair with headphones or other compatible accessories via Google’s Fast Pair framework.
