Google has released its Chromebook with Google OS from some time ago, and recently the Chrome OS gets the ability to run Android apps. And now another big news to cheer the Chromebook users, Microsoft has officially confirmed that office apps will be supported on Chrome OS.
If you are a Chromebook user, then you will be smile now as the Microsoft officially confirmed that office apps will be support on the Chromebooks. As we updated earlier, Google rolls out Google Play Store support on Chromebook. And the Play store is in beta version right now, Microsoft has also joined in the beta program with Google Play Store to give the app to more uses and the company will make the apps available on all the compatible devices.
Chromebook with screen size less than or equal to 10.1 inch, will able to open and edit office documents for free of cost. But on the other hand, advanced feature will need an office 365 subscription. Devices with bigger screen size can only able to view document, but for other purposes like editing you have to pay.
