Google provided Chrome Apps that provide shortcuts to any website but the same was discontinued last year. But now it seems that the company is bringing back a similar type of feature on the world’s most favourite internet browser Google Chrome. The Chrome 124 version is bringing a new feature that will enable you to make applications of your favourite websites.
The Mountain View company Google is taking the Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) to the next level by offering a new capability that will enable you to install any website as a desktop app with a single click.
That means you can able to click on the app icon and that will launch the website in its own window and there will be no more searching or typing the full URL of your favourite websites.
It is currently in the Beta stage and it might take some time to arrive in the stable version but it is pretty cool and handy feature. Let’s wait for the arrival of the new capability of Google Chrome and you guys are recommended to stick with us for more updates from the world of technology.
