BHIM is a UPI based payment solution application, which the government of India launched last year after the demonetization. The app is to encourage people to do the transaction without money, with the technology of UPI. Users can send and receive money quickly and easily and the best part is the safety of the transaction, and now Paytm has integrated the BHIM UPI on their platform.
With the integration of BHIM UPI on Paytm, you can able to use the app to transfer money directly to bank accounts. To use the facility, you need to create your Paytm BHIM UPI ID on the app, which by default will be their registered mobile number on Paytm (mobile-number@paytm).
You can able edit your Paytm BHIM UPI ID if you want to do so. Once done, tap on the ‘BHIM UPI’ and select your savings bank account. After that, your bank will verify your number. Once the verification was done, you can set the M-PIN (required for transactions) and can start sending and receiving money on Paytm via BHIM UPI.
Speaking about the transaction limit, there’s no limit to the amount of money which can be received, however, the maximum amount that can be sent is ₹1 Lakh in a day. And if you are a Paytm merchant, you can link your multiple bank accounts with Paytm BHIM UPI ID in order to accept money.
