Back in August, we came across the report which suggested that Paytm was working on a new messaging platform to give head-to-head with WhatsApp. And now India’s own online wallet company has introduced inbox, which will allow users to chat while sending and receiving money.
The all-new Paytm Inbox feature, will allow users to chat with each other from within the Paytm app. Moreover, users can also send and receive money from each other from within the chat. The company says that this messaging platform is secured with end-to-end encryption, just like WhatsApp. Which means your conversions are safe, and no one can have their eyes on it.
The Inbox feature also allows users to send photos, videos and their live location as well. Moreover, it also allows the message recall feature, which will allow you to delete the message which you sent mistakenly, similar to the WhatsApp. But Inbox has more advantage than the WhatsApp, as the WhatsApp has the restrictions of 7 minutes to delete a message, but the Inbox does not have any restriction which really great.
Paytm also introduced few other features such as Notifications, Orders, and Games. The Notification feature will allow users to get notified about the new offers from various categories. The Orders feature will allow users to see their orders and transaction updates. Moving to the Games, well, it’s pretty much self-explanatory. Isn’t it?
The new update has been updated to the Google Play Store, and Android users can get all the new feature by updating the Paytm app. However, the iOS users have to wait for sometime to get the new features on their devices.
