On the support page, the South Korean electronics giant confirms that Google Assistant will not be available on the Samsung Smart TV models from March 1, 2024.
The list of smart TV models of Samsung includes the 2022 models, 2021 models, 2020 8K and 4K QLED TVs, 2020 Crystal UHD TVs, and 2020 Lifestyle TVs (Frame, Serif, Terrace, and Sero).
Samsung says that the decision has been taken due to a change of policy by Google but the specific details are not clear at the moment of time. The new scenario will make Samsung Smart TV users to switch to other pre-installed voice assistants that is, Samsung’s Bixby and Amazon’s Alexa.
