A couple of days ago, we updated that the President of United States, Donald Trump issued a presidential order to stop the Broadcom to buy the popular mobile chipset makers Qualcomm. And the presidential order also prohibited all the 15 Broadcom candidates for the Qualcomm’s board from standing the election.
Well, now the Broadcom has officially said that they are withdrawing the deal of buying Qualcomm and they also said that they have turned down the offer and withdrawn all the Qualcomm board nominees.
The company expressed disappointment with the decision but the company reaffirmed its plan to relocate its headquarters to the United States and the operation would start by April 3 in the United States.
Finally, the drama comes to an end. The purchasing drama started in last year and we came through various reports which suggested that the Broadcom will purchase the mobile chipset makers Qualcomm, thankfully, now it is withdrawn.
