Intel is reportedly planning to acquire the Broadcom if Broadcom acquires Qualcomm which the bid was started back in November 2017.
Broadcom has made some good offer for Qualcomm last year, but the deal was not successful. However, Broadcom does not gives up. The bid was made up to last month, but the deal was rejected clearly. If Broadcom acquires Qualcomm, then Intel is going to suffer a lot. Since Broadcom and Qualcomm combo will give a very tough fight for Intel in the future.
Meanwhile, keeping all these in mind, Intel is planning to acquire Broadcom if only Broadcom takes Qualcomm. Do you think why Intel is getting alert at this time? The reason is, last year Qualcomm has introduced its powerful chipset for PC which is the area of Intel’s largest market. If Qualcomm takes this route, then Intel should work even more hard to clear Qualcomm.
To make everything under control, Intel is planning to take Qualcomm via Broadcom, if Broadcom succeeds the deal. There is no guarantee whether Intel will acquire these giants or not. Let’s wait and see what Intel, Broadcom, and Qualcomm decide about their future.
