The popular computer chipset maker Intel is currently working on its 15th-generation Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake CPUs. While the Lunar Lake CPUs will be focused on power efficiency while the Arrow Lake CPUs will be optimized for performance.
The upcoming Intel Arrow Lake desktop platform is expected to feature both Intel’s 20A (or 2nm) process and TSMC’s 3nm process. The chipset is expected to adopt a modular architecture and the same will be divided into four different Tile modules including CPU, SoC, GPU, and IOE. The CPU is expected to use Intel’s own 20A process as well.
The chipset is also said to be coming with power consumption at least 100W lower while running at a relatively high frequency. We can expect that Intel will launch the new chipsets during the CES 2025 event earlier next year.
