The popular chipset maker for computers Intel has officially announced its new Intel Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 workstation processors and the same are designed for professional content creators. It is coming with the performance improvements and the same is capable to easily adopt to different fields such as media, entertainment, engineering, and data science.
The latest Intel Xeon workstation processors are capable to offer an innovative computing architecture including faster cores and new multi-die interconnect bridge packaging.
Both features DDR5 RDIMM memory, PCIe Gen 5.0, and Wi-Fi 6E. Having said that, the newly announced Intel Xeon W9-3495X is the most powerful Intel desktop workstation processor.
The Intel Xeon W9-3495X has up to 56 cores in a single socket and it is coming with a redesigned memory controller along with an L3 cache larger than its previous iteration. It is also capable to operate at frequencies up to 4.8GHz and the same features the Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the new Intel Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 will be available for pre-order but will be available for system use in March 2023. The price starts at $359 and tops at $5,889 for the Xeon W9-3495X.
