The Mountain View company Google has introduced its new item in the market of India and it is called the Google Pay SoundPod. The device will rival Paytm payments and we know that Paytm offers a similar type of device. The latest Google Pay SoundPod comes with a mini display along with volume adjustment buttons. The newly introduced Google Pay SoundPod will enable merchants in India to accept online payments using the QR code of Google Pay. The device comes with a modern design along with a small display and the device features 4 buttons that will enable you to adjust the volume along with the power of the speaker and a menu button to navigate across the device.
It has the power of battery but you can also use the device when plugged in as well. The device can be purchased directly from the Google Pay for Business app. It is worth mentioning that the device is free to order but merchants are required to pay a subscription fee to keep the speaker active. Google is offering two plans for the Google Pay SoundPod.
Google is offering a daily plan and an annual plan for the device, and let’s check out the daily plan first. You need to make a payment of Rs 499 one time and then you need to make a payment of Rs 5 per day and the same will be charged daily for 25 days a month. The daily fee will be charged as long as the Merchant keeps using the Google Pay SoundPod. On the other hand, the annual plan has a price tag of Rs 1499 for one year and the merchant is required to pay upfront. The company will not charge daily and the same must be renewed for the next year after 1 year.
Google is also offering some rewards, as Google Pay will offer a flat cashback of Rs 125 when a merchant reaches the milestone of accepting 400 payments within 30 days. This will be available on both the daily plan and the annual plan. It is also revealed that merchants can be able to link any bank account with the new Google Pay SoundPod.
