Swiggy is one of the very popular players in the country who deliver food and grocery and the company started to charge platform fees last year.
The company started to charge Rs 2 and then slowly the platform fee to Rs 5. Now we got a new piece of information that says the company is planning to double the platform fee in the coming months.
It is reported that Swiggy is currently planning to increase the platform fee from Rs 5 to Rs 10. That means you need to make Rs 10 additional payment for your every order.
The new strategy is to improve its financial health but the same is not that pretty cool as customers already paying an extra amount for their order and you need to meet additional payment as a payment in the name of the platform fee as well.
