Alexa is the virtual assistant of Amazon and the company is working hard to improve the performance of the digital assistant. We are getting a new piece of information that is pretty disappointing as the company might set a monthly subscription fee for Alexa.
According to the latest information, the company is planning to ask for a monthly subscription fee for Alexa and the subscription fee could be either $5 or $10 and you need to make this monthly subscription on top of a Prime membership.
It is also said that the company is upgrading Alexa and the same is actually asking monthly subscription fee and the new upgraded Alexa will be available in August 2024. The new version of Alexa is reported to understand and complete multiple requests in one go including writing an email or ordering takeout at the same time.
