The Chinese smartphone maker iQOO has officially confirmed to launch its latest and greatest smartphones dubbed the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro in the market of China on November 7. According to the latest information, the upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone will come with a 6.78-inch BOE OLED flat display along with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 3000nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The device will also feature an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner.
It will come with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device will be housing a large 5,000mAh battery along with 120W wired charging.
The upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary sensor with OIS support on the back along with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
On the other hand, the upcoming iQOO 12 Pro smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch 2K Samsung E7 AMOLED display with curved edges along with a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2700nits, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The device will also come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It is believed to come with a 5,100mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
It will also come with an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary snapper on the back along with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom capabilities.
The upcoming iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will run on Android 14 with a layer of OriginOS 4.0 on top and both devices will come with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera as well. The smartphone series will come with a dedicated Q1 display chip for enhanced gaming along with Wi-Fi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-frequency GPS, and an IR blaster for connectivity.
