iQOO 12 is the upcoming flagship smartphone of the company and it is believed to be announced next month. Now the live image of the device appears online and shows the back design. It is also reported that the company might launch the device with a dedicated gaming chipset and the same will be self-developed by the company. Going through the newly leaked image, we can see the upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone in white colour option and the same shows a distinctive squircle-shaped camera module on the back panel.
Separately, it is reported that the company will be launching the device with a dedicated gaming chipset and the same will be focusing on gaming.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone will come with a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED display with a flat design along with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will be running on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 out of the box. It is also expected to come with a metallic frame and an IP64-rated chassis.
The upcoming device is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front camera while the back panel of the device will come with a 50-megapixel OV50H main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 telephoto camera, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
It is expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device will be housing a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging technology.
The upcoming iQOO 12 is also reported to be official in the market of India by the end of November or in the early days of December of this year. The company is expected to launch the device in China on November 7.
