The company offers the device with a Periscope sensor on the back and it is running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The newly announced OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone retains the design language of the predecessor which is dubbed the OnePlus 11. But there are some small differences here and there. The new device features a glass sandwich construction with a metal frame in the middle and the device is IP65-rated for splash resistance.
The latest Oneplus 12 features a 6.82-inch curved OLED display supplied by BOE along with a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen and 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution (QHD+). The device also features 510 PPI and a 1-120Hz refresh rate (LTPO). The 10-bit screen supports up to 4500 nits of local peak brightness level and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The device is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device also features a 9140mm² VC (Vapor Chamber) cooling system and the same is capable to cover an area of 38,547mm².
Speaking about the camera department, the latest OnePlus 12 smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS along with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with an OIS-assisted 3x periscope zoom lens, and the device also features a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide sensor with autofocus. The device also comes with a 32MP shooter and the camera department of the device features Hasselblad-inspired image processing.
The device supports dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen1 for connectivity. The device also features an alert slider, an IR blaster, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers. It is supporting an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.

The latest OnePlus 12 with 12GB + 256GB has a price tag of ¥4,299 while the 16GB + 512GB variant comes with a price tag of ¥4,799, the 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at ¥5,299, and the top end 24GB + 1TB model is having a price of ¥5,799. The company has made the device available in Rock Black, Pale Green, and White color options. The device will go on sale from December 11 in the market of China.
