The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has already confirmed to launch its new flagship offering called the Xiaomi 14 with the HyperOS on October 26 in the market of China and the company has confirmed the camera details of the vanilla variant of the smartphone series and the same will be coming with Leica’s high-end Summilux lenses.
The upcoming Xiaomi 14 flagship smartphone will feature a Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2.2/14-75 ASPH camera setup on the back. That means the device will come with an aspherical lens, and the same will be capable of capturing photos and videos from the wide aperture of f/1.6 to f/2.2, in distances from 14 mm to 75 mm with Leica DLSR-level quality.
It is also confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi 14 smartphone will feature a standard main lens (23mm), an ultra-wide angle lens with a 0.6x view (14 mm), and a telephoto camera capable of 3.2x optical zoom (75mm). It also comes with an upgraded to a variable aperture of between f/1.6 and f/2.2, improved from last year’s f/1.8 to f/2.2.
Xiaomi will be launching the smartphone series with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and it will be running on Android 14 out of the box.
