The newly announced Lenovo Legion Go features detachable controllers and the same are available on opposite ends of the display while the back of the device is housing a built-in kickstand and the company is offering the controllers with hall effect sticks feature and that is to eliminate the infamous joystick drift issue and minimize dead zones while improving accuracy. The company offers the bottom of the right controller with an optical sensor that enables it to act like a mouse for better precision in FPS titles.
The controllers of the latest Lenovo Legion Go are fully customizable and you can change the RGB lighting on the joysticks with the Legion Space software. It features an 8.8-inch PureSight display along with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nits of peak brightness, 97.3 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with the power of the AMD Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme. The chipsets are paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage. It is running on the Windows 11 operating system out of the box.
The handheld gaming console of Lenovo is housing a 49.2Wh battery along with 65W fast charging support. It is worth mentioning that the individual controllers also house a 900mAh battery as well.
It is offering a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, and two USB-Type C ports.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the starting price of the device is set at 699 US Dollars and the same will be available by October this year.
