Windows Computers Crashes Globally
Windows powered computers crashed globally and the problem was initially started in Australia then it expanded all over the world including in India. The entire world are facing significant disruptions due to a recent update from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike of Microsoft, BSOD errors.
The latest update of Microsoft created widespread Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors and the problem affected various sectors including banking, media, hospitals, airlines, media houses, and almost every industry. Users are mainly experiencing boot loops and system crashes.
Having said that, the problem actually started after a CrowdStrike update that affected the Falcon Sensor and the same is a key company security platform component. It is also said that the users are also not able to recover the devices as it is getting stuck.
OnePlus Nord 4 goes official
The device features a metal unibody along with a flat frame. The device also features the signature alert slider button and the device features horizontally placed camera sensors on the back. The latest device comes with a 6.5 inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and AquaTouch technology.
The new OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone features a dual camera setup on the back and that is in the combination of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device also features a 16MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device houses a massive 5,500mAh battery on the board along with 100W charging technology. The device runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS custom skin on top. It also comes with multiple AI features and the device will be receiving 4 years of major Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
Google Pixel 9 Series India Launch Date Confirmed
Google has confirmed the launch date of the devices for the market of India. It is officially confirmed that Google will be launching the new Google Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be unveiled in the market of India on August 14 at 10:30pm IST. The Google Pixel 9 Pro is confirmed to feature the raised, horizontal camera visor with rounded corners and the same houses three cameras, an LDE flash, and a temperature sensor unit.
While the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be the company’s second-generation foldable phone and the device features the camera module at the top left corner and it is believed that the camera module will house three cameras, an LED flash, and a microphone.
It is also confirmed that the company will be integrating the devices with the Gemini AI. The upcoming folding device of the company will be available in Porcelain and Obsidian color options.
New Xiaomi Mix series announced
The company has introduced the new Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip folding devices in the market of China. Let’s start with the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4, the device features a 6.56 inch external display with quad-curved edges while the internal display has a 7.98 inch size. Both screens feature an OLED panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness.
The device features Leica-branded quad rear cameras and that is in the combination of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP portrait telephoto unit with 2x zoom, and a 50MP periscope camera with 5x zoom. The device also features multiple Leica features including filters, photography styles, and more. The device comes with a 16MP front camera on the inner display and on the outer display.
The latest Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The device houses a large 5,100mAh battery along with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device also features a ultra-thin VC system and it is running on Android 14 with HyperOS. The device comes with multiple AI features as well. The device also supports two-way satellite connectivity.
While the Xiaomi MIX Flip features a large 4.01-inch cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Internal display of the device has a 6.86 inch panel and everything remains the same as the cover display. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Xiaomi MIX Flip features a Leica-branded dual rear camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP main OIS sensor and a 50MP floating telephoto unit with 2x zoom. The internal screen has a 32MP selfie snapper inside a punch-hole cutout. The device also features Master Portrait mode.
The latest Xiaomi MIX Flip has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device also features a 3D vapor cooling chamber for heat dissipation. It houses a 4,780mAh battery along with 67W fast charging and the device runs on Android 14 with HyperOS out of the box.
Snapdragon for India launch event date announced
Qualcomm has officially announced that a new event will be hosted in India dubbed Snapdragon for India and the same will be hosted on July 30. The company did not reveal the details about the upcoming products that will be announced during the event but it is related to feature AI.
