Oppo has officially introduced the new Oppo Reno 13 series in the market of China. The smartphone series includes the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. The smartphone series comes with Dimensity 8350 mobile processor along with a 6.83″ 1.5K display and 50MP cameras. The smartphone series houses a large 5800mAh battery and both devices run on the latest Android 15 operating system out of the box. Everything about Oppo Reno 13 series
The newly announced Oppo Reno 13 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display along with 2760 x 1256 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device also comes with up to 1200 nits peak brightness and supports 3840Hz PWM dimming. While the Oppo Reno 13 Pro has a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display, the same comes with the same high refresh and touch sampling rates.
Both devices come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 mobile processor. The vanilla variant comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage while the big brother of the smartphone series comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. The devices also come with a custom X1 network acceleration chip, X-axis linear motors, and a gaming-focused cloud computing private network for ultra-low latency and high-speed gameplay.
The latest Oppo Reno 13 series runs on the Android 15 operating system with ColorOS 15 out of the box. The smartphone series also features live photo sharing with iPhones and popular Chinese applications including Weibo and Douyin will enable you to edit and share live photos with watermarked frames.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Oppo Reno 13 features a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device also comes with a 50MP front camera that supports 4K 60fps video recording. While the Oppo Reno 13 Pro comes with a triple-camera system including a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3.5X periscope telephoto lens supporting up to 100X digital zoom. The device also comes with the same 50MP front camera and it also comes with advanced features including 4K 60fps video, portrait modes, and AI enhancements.
The vanilla variant houses a 5600mAh battery, while the Reno 13 Pro includes a 5800mAh battery. Both devices feature 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Having said that, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro also supports 50W AIRVOOC wireless fast charging.
Oppo has introduced the new Oppo Reno 13 series with a premium metallic middle frame along with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and dual stereo speakers. The devices also support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C for connectivity. The devices also come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 for superior dust and water resistance.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the pricing of the Oppo Reno 13 starts at 2,699 yuan while the Oppo Reno 13 Pro starts at 3,399 yuan. The smartphone series is currently available in China and we believe that Oppo will be launching the devices in India very soon.
