It is officially announced that the latest product features a 22% faster processor along with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and the same is also a good jump from the previous generation. The latest Google TV Streamer (4K) also has a port to connect to the internet and a single USB-C port for power.
The latest Google TV Streamer also features HDMI 2.1 port that supports 4K HDR at 60fps output with HDR10(+), Dolby Vision, and HLG. It also comes with Dolby standards including Atmos. The remote control is also improved and now supports “find my remote”. The device supports Wi-Fi 5 (ac) at 2.4GHz and 5GHz and Bluetooth 5.1. It also comes with a new customizable button and the same can be programmed. It also gets the smart home functionality like the capability to check Nest Doorbell cameras and the capability to control the new Nest Learning Thermostat.
Google has also integrated the Google Gemini into the Google TV Streamer and the same will be offering content recommendation and more. The device will be available for pre-order and it has a price tag of $100. The shipping will be starting from September 24.
