The Google’s own storage manager app- Files Go was available on Google Play Store in beta version from past one month. And now at the Google for India 2017 event, the tech giant Google has announced the Files Go app has stopped its beta testing and now makes the app available for all the Android users in the stable version for the global users.
The new Files Go app will be pre-installed with the Android Oreo (Go Edition), and the app is meant for the devices which have low RAM and storage. The all-new Files Go is developed in some unique way, it will give personalized suggestions to free-up space of your device.
Moreover, the app also allows you to see the available storage space on the device as well as memory card. The Files Go app also makes it easier for users to backup files to the cloud – be it Google Drive or any other cloud storage. And it also comes with a feature called smart filters, which will help users to find the file they are looking for in a faster way. And the best part of the Files Go, it allows users to share files with their nearby friends without using data. The file transfers are encrypted are reach speeds of up to 125 Mbps.
