The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp is continuously getting new features and now the developers of the application have introduced a new feature that will enable you to directly store contact information on the application and the new feature will enable you to save these contacts by usernames.
It is said that the contacts that are saved on the application will be saved using a new encryption system dubbed Identity Proof Linked Storage and the same will allow users to either save the contacts and automatically restore them directly using WhatsApp or save them locally within WhatsApp and choose which ones they want to sync with the cloud as well.
The contacts will also be available on linked devices and if you have multiple WhatsApp accounts on your device then the application will enable you to customise the contact list as well.
