We have witnessed various marketing strategies to sell out devices but today we got a new piece of information that is very disappointing. When the OnePlus 12R smartphone was announced, the device was said to feature UFS 4.0 of storage standard. But that is not true as today the company has revealed the actual storage standard.
It is officially confirmed that the OnePlus 12R has UFS 3.1 storage instead of UFS 4.0, the top most executive of the company has revealed the new information. The executive has said that the company has made an error in stating the storage type.
Having said that, the UFS 3.1 storage type is older than UFS 4.0 but the same is available on the previous flagship smartphone dubbed the OnePlus 11.
The company has also confirmed that it is working on the next steps for the owners of the 12R and the same will be revealed on February 15. We believe that the company could offer some compensation offers.
Let’s hope that other brands will never make the same mistake and let’s wait for the upcoming announcement of the company. We recommend you to stick with us for more updates from the world of technology.
