The popular Japanese brand Sharp has officially introduced a new phone in its home country called the Sharp Aquos R9. The device comes with a 240Hz LTPO refresh rate along with the power of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 mobile processor and the device runs on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The newly introduced Sharp Aquos R9 smartphone will be coming with a 6.5 inch Pro-IGZO OLED display along with an FHD+ resolution and a high LTPO variable refresh rate of 240Hz. The device also features 1,500 nits peak brightness and it also supports Dolby Vision. The device comes with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technology.
The latest Sharp Aquos R9 comes with a flat frame and the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with MIL-STD 810G military-grade certification. The device is having IPX5, IPX8, and IP6X rating as well.
Speaking about the camera department, the Sharp Aquos R9 comes with a Leica-branded dual camera setup. The device features a 50.3MP OIS-enabled main sensor with f/1.9 and a 50.3MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens with a 122-degree field of view. It also comes with a 50.3MP front facing camera.
